With 25,000 Elephants in India, the largest population in a single country. However, with 1 billion people, coexisting with these giants poses challenges. Over 300 deaths occur yearly due to elephants, and a third of elephants die annually from human interactions. Elephant herds cause significant crop and livelihood damage. The issue is vast, with inadequate government solutions. The film follows Kallan, a rice farmer near an elephant park in Wayanad, Kerala, offering a human perspective on the conflict in a wildlife ecology context.
