Our Mission

Whether it is animals or people, our mission is to advocate voice for the voiceless and help drive environmental and social change.

Our Vision

We are dedicated to illuminating untold stories by collaborating with communities, Adivasis, and young adults, capturing their voices through our documentary lens.

ECO

Our Goal

Our ultimate goal is to leave a lasting impact on society, raising awareness and sparking action for a better future.

Our Journey

The Foundation

In 1987, we embarked on our journey by founding our production company, laying the groundwork for what would become a global storytelling powerhouse. Since then, our narratives have captivated audiences worldwide.

A New Identity

In 1995, we rebranded as Earthcare Productions, embracing a new identity that underscored our dedication to uncovering and sharing untold, impactful stories that resonate deeply with audiences.

Expanding Services

In 1997, we expanded our service portfolio by launching a dedicated Fixing (Line Production) division, enhancing our versatility and industry reach. Under the leadership of Madhurima, this new arm quickly gained momentum and evolved into one of India’s premier fixing agencies.

Embracing Participatory Video

Krishnendu and Kavita Das Gupta co-founded EarthCare Outreach Trust (ECO), a non-profit dedicated to amplifying marginalized voices. Through participatory video, ECO empowers communities, indigenous groups, and young adults to share their stories, experiences, and perspectives, fostering awareness and advocacy from the ground up.

Global Reach

Earthcare Productions has organically expanded into the global market, broadening its scope to produce films on larger societal themes and venturing into the realm of political documentaries, while continuing to champion impactful storytelling.
